University Research Committee
In accordance with the provisions of the UGC (Minimum Standards and Procedures for Award of Ph.D. Degree) Regulations and for effective supervision, monitoring, and promotion of research activities, Glocal University hereby constitutes the University Research Committee (URC) with the approval of the Competent Authority.
The University Research Committee shall function as the apex body for overseeing research and doctoral programmes of the University in compliance with UGC norms and institutional policies.

Functions of the Committee
The University Research Committee shall:
- Ensure compliance with UGC Regulations governing research and Ph.D. programmes;
- Formulate, review, and monitor research policies of the University;
- Supervise and review the quality and progress of research activities;
- Promote ethical research practices and academic integrity;
- Perform any other functions assigned by the Competent Authority from time to time.
This order shall come into force with immediate effect and shall remain valid until further orders.
